jev-trader
One AI trade call every Monad block on Kuru MON-USDC, with Jev picking the move instead of a market essay.

Overview
jev-trader (github.com/jarrodwatts/jev-trader, jev-trader.vercel.app) is Jarrod Watts's (@jarrodwatts) Monad trading demo. Jev reads the MON-USDC price feed state and chooses buy or sell on each roughly three hundred millisecond block; the bot places real orders on Kuru's on-chain MON-USDC order book. The public launch clip stresses live execution, not a backtest dashboard.
Problem: On-chain market makers need a discrete buy or sell decision every block without paying for open-ended market commentary on each tick.
Built for: Developers experimenting with Monad trading bots and anyone studying Jev Choice on live order books rather than paper sims.

“Jev decides if it should buy or sell given the price feed, and executes real trades on Kuru's on-chain order book every three hundred millisecond block.”
How Jev is used
- Role in the product flow
- Per-block buy versus sell Choice from live price-feed state
- Primitives
- Choice
- State in
- Asset pair price feed and position context on Monad, refreshed each block (per launch clip and repo README).
- Decision out
- Typed buy or sell Choice that triggers order placement on Kuru MON-USDC.
- Ingest latest MON-USDC price feed on each Monad block (~300 ms cadence in the clip)
- Jev Choice: buy or sell given current state
- Submit order to Kuru on-chain order book
- Repeat on the next block with updated feed
jev-trader treats Jev as a throttle-friendly decision head on a hot loop. Instead of prompting a chat model for paragraphs about macro trends, the bot passes compact market state into a single Choice primitive each block. That keeps latency aligned with Monad block time and makes the policy auditable: you can log every buy or sell gate with confidence. Kuru handles settlement; Jev only answers whether to lean long or short on the next tick. The Vercel demo and open-source repo document wiring TypeSafe credentials and Monad RPC endpoints. This profile tracks the shipped trader pattern from the September 2026 clip, not generic DeFi advice.

- Which Jev primitive runs each block?
- A Choice between buy and sell from the current price-feed state. There is no separate Score or Noul layer documented in the public clip.
- Where do I run it?
- Clone github.com/jarrodwatts/jev-trader or open jev-trader.vercel.app for the hosted demo linked in the showcase.
